Disco specials from Land Rover 22 | 11 | 2010

LAND ROVER has lifted the wraps on its two new 'Landmark' limited editions of its Discovery 4 off-roader. Dubbed Black and White because of the two special colour themes on offer, the Landmark models, will reach Scottish showrooms in January. Prices will start at £46,945.

Strangely for a car which is offered only in Santorini black or Fuji White, Land Rover design boss Gerry McGovern said the models had been launched to offer customers “more choice”. But he also believed the Landmark range — powered by the 3.0-litre SDV6 twin-turbo diesel — will bring a “new, bolder, more contemporary edge to the design, offering a higher level of luxury in the cabin”.

For the first for in a Discovery, interior leather options include Ebony and Ivory. External additions include a Santorini Black finish for the front grille, gloss black diamond-turned 20in alloys, privacy glass and Satin Black extended roof rails. Prices start at £46,945.
