Blackcircles delivers service security 05 | 10 | 2010

PEEBLES-BASED Blackcircles.com, Britain's leading online tyre retailer, is now insisting its 1000 garages and fast-fit outlets sign up to subscribe to the Motor Codes ‘service and repair code’ over the next 12 months.

“The customer experience is paramount to our operation," Michael Welch (pictured), managing director of Blackcircles.com, said, "so underpinning our benefits with the reassurance of Motor Codes standards further enhances our credibility.

“We recently expanded our offering to include vehicle servicing and with the addition of Motor Codes we’re demonstrating to our garages and customers that we’re committed to maintaining high industry standards.”

The Motor Codes team will work with Blackcircles.com to ensure all of its outlets are up to scratch and remain that way. RAC inspectors carry out regular garage checks and the Office of Fair Trading monitors standards to make sure customers always get a fair deal.

“The ethos of Blackcircles.com fits perfectly with the image and standards that Motor Codes promotes,” Chris Mason, Motor Codes director, told Scotcars. “Already there’s a Motor Codes garage in almost every major town and city in the UK, so the addition of the 1000-plus Blackcircles.com garages simply enhances the capability of the industry to offer the high standards customers expect.”

Backed by government, consumer bodies and industry, Motor Codes provides ‘safe haven’ garages for motorists and an environment where they are treated fairly.
