Focus Sport heads to Scots dealers 04 | 10 | 2010

FORD DEALERSHIPS across Scotland will have a new Sport version of the Focus in their showrooms from January next year. The five-door model, which will be offered with a choice of 1.6-litre 99bhp petrol manual or 1.6-litre 108bhp TDCi manual, will cost £700 more than the Zetec version.

Equipment for the Focus Sport has been upgraded to include Sat Nav with European mapping, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, voice control, parking distance sensors, 16in ST-style alloy wheels, automatic headlamps and wipers, and a self-dimming rear-view mirror. To fit these to a Zetec would cost £1500 on the Zetec model now coming as standard. The Sport comes in a choice of six body colours and has "New York Ebony" seat fabric.

When it goes on sale in January, the Focus Sport will cost £16,545 for the 1.6-litre petrol and £17,845 for the 1.6-litre TDCi. It will also continue alongside the next generation Focus throughout next year.
