Nissan commits to customers 27 | 10 | 2010

    NISSAN WILL roll out one of the most significant customer commitments the industry has seen on November 1, and the Scottish dealership network is preparing itself to set the highest standards across the country.

    The Nissan + You Care initiative will be launched at all 185 UK dealerships and the the project will be run in its entirety for three months during which time customers will be assured they can benefit from all five pledges that make up the promise:

    1. Nissan dealers will provide free courtesy cars to service customers;

    2. RAC roadside cover for Nissan cars – regardless of age, mileage or condition – serviced at Nissan dealers;;

    3. Nissan will match any like-for-like service quotation from a garage within 10 miles using Nissan parts

    4. Rapid handling of complaints;

    5. Guaranteed availability of the model, engine and transmission a potential customer wants to test.

    Dealerships will have to be on their guard because during the initial phase they will be 'mystery shopped' and customer feedback will be used to iron out any teething problems before a national campaign begins next April to promote the new initiative.
