Prices for Hyundai ix20 28 | 10 | 2010

WHEN HYUNDAI'S new ix20 goes on sale at its Scottish dealerships on November 18, the range will start at £11,595. Customers will also be able to choose from three engines, 1.4-litre petrol, 1.6 petrol, 1.4 diesel, plus and three trim levels – Classic, Active and Style.

The entry level Classic includes height adjustable driver’s seat, ESP, air-conditioning, six airbags, active head restraints, radio/CD audio system with six speakers, plus CD, MP3, RDS and USB-/AUX-/iPOD-input capabilities.
Prices start at £11,595 for the 1.4 petrol. Buyers wanting the exceptional economy of the diesel will pay an extra £1400.

Hyundai expects the most popular trim to be the mid-range Active, which includes 16 alloy wheels, body coloured door handles and mirrors —which are electrically adjustable and heated — and reversing sensors. Inside, the Active includes Bluetooth phone connectivity, electric rear windows and audio controls on the leather-trimmed steering wheel.

The Active starts at £12,695 for the 1.4 petrol, £1100 more than the Classic, and rises to £14,095 for the diesel and £14,095 for the 1.6 petrol auto.

The top-of-the-range Style — which starts at £13,695 for the 1.4 petrol, £15,095 for the diesel and £15,095 for the 1.6 petrol auto — adds dual-panel panoramic glass sunroof with UV filter, front fog lights, electrically folding door mirrors are fitted with integrated side repeater indicators.

The trim levels are so comprehensive, the only factory fit extra available is metallic paint at £395.
