Bathgate Boys in town 09 | 09 | 2010

OK, SO IT'S not the best quality photo we'll ever carry on Scotcars, but we thought it was worth letting you see it. Now, it's not just the fact there's two Ferraris parked in a taxi rank outside the Columbus Hotel in Monte Carlo; but do you recognise the guy in the baseball cap and the white T-shirt? Go on; look carefully. Well he'll be probably the fastest taxi driver you can get hold off, double Indy500 winner and double IndyCar champ Dario Franchitti.

He and his brother Marino stopped off at the boutique hotel — built in partnership between F1 grand prix winner David Coulthard and fellow Scot Ken McCulloch, and opened by Prince Rainier in 2001 — en route to Monza to watch cousin Paul di Resta drive his Force India car in tomorrow's free practice ahead of the Italian Grand Prix.

All three Bathgate boys will stay on for the race on Sunday. We chatted with TW Steel ambassador Dario, and we'll let you know what he said tomorrow.
