Border Cars' Mitsubishi expansion 09 | 02 | 2011

BORDER CARS, the Dumfries-based motor group, has extended its Mitsubishi representation to three, taking on the franchise at dealerships in Carlisle and Workington. As a result of the expansion, Border Cars will now provide Mitsubishi sales, service and parts for all of Cumbria and south west Scotland.

In addition to Mitsubishi, Boredr Cars also operates dealerships for Fiat, Diahatsu, Chrysler and Jeep, Suzuki, Mazda, and Kia.

Based on Kingstown Broadway, the new Mitsubishi site in Carlisle will be the first to ‘go-live’ and will open for business on February 14. The dealership in Lillyhall, Workington will be launched slightly later in March.

“Border Cars already has the Mitsubishi brand at our Glasgow Road dealership in Dumfries so it’s great to be able to extend it to Carlisle and Workington," Border Cars owner Mike Fusco said. “We look forward to welcoming existing and new Mitsubishi customers to our dealerships at this very exciting time.”
