Infiniti reveals price of M35 hybrid 24 | 02 | 2011

WHEN THE NEW Infiniti hybrid saloon, the M35, arrives in Scotland's Infiniti Centre in Glasgow in April, it will cost £46,840. As well as being the most powerful and most economical model in the new Infiniti M range, the new M35h GT Premium model is Infiniti’s flagship saloon in the UK.

The pricing places it £1200 above the 'standard' M30d GT Premium, and joins the V6 petrol M37 and V6 diesel M30d in the range which starts at £38540 for the entry-level M37 GT.

The M35h is powered by a 'direct hybrid' system, a new-generation drivetrain with one electric motor/two clutch layout, together with new hybrid electric power steering and regenerative braking, a hybrid dashboard display showing energy flows and a low-speed audible warning system (VSP) to help ensure the safety of pedestrians and other road users.

Capable of a combined fuel economy figure of 40.4mpg, and with CO2 figures of162g/km, the M35h accelerates from 0-62mph in 5.5secs.

The Infiniti M35h is well stocked when it comes to standard equipment, with heated and ventilated front seats, white ash wood trim with silver powder finish, bi-Xenon lights with adaptive front lighting system, power seats and steering column with heated steering wheel, a 30GB HDD navigation system with high-res touch screen, 3D graphics and Michelin Guide information, Forest AirTM climate control and a 16-speaker Bose Premium surround sound system all packed into the car.

In fact there's just one option: metallic paint at £679.
