Scots' two Peugeot EV specialists 13 | 01 | 2011

DAYS AFTER Mitsubishi confirmed two electric vehicles sales centres in Scotland, Peugeot has announced it too will have two Scots EV specialists — Robins & Day in Glasgow, and Arnold Clark in Edinburgh.

The two Scottish centres join another 20 dotted across the UK as Peugeot and will manage sales and service for its new Ion.

The French manufacturer's specialists are all geographically aligned to the ‘Plugged-in Places’ which will receive Government support to build the necessary charging infrastructure to support electric vehicles.

In addition to the two centres in Scotland, there are three dealers in the midlands, two in the east of England, two in the north east, two in London and one each in Milton Keynes, Manchester, and Northern Ireland. There are another seven across the south, south west and south Wales and one in Leeds.

Each specialist EV dealer will have an Ion demonstrator, dedicated electric vehicle charging point, specially trained staff and all necessary specialist servicing equipment.

Peugeot’s Ion is available to order now with first deliveries expected in February.
