VAT boost for Scots Honda buyers 04 | 01 | 2011

HONDA IS OFFERING Scots buyers a less painful start to the increase in VAT by adding three years’ complimentary servicing and a range of flexible finance options to selected new cars. The offer is available at all Honda's showrooms across Scotland until the end of March 2011.

And as a further boost, the Japanese manufacturer is also absorbing the extra 2.5% VAT price increase for customers throughout January.
Three models qualify for the three years’ complimentary servicing — the new CR-V models and Insight and CR-Z hybrids. In addition, the three models also include Honda’s standard one year’s road side assistance and three-year new car warranty.

Honda is also holding 2010 prices on all CR-V, CR-Z, Insight and Accord models and selected Civic variants until the end of January 2011. By not passing on the VAT rise, customers can benefit from a £443 saving on a new Accord 2.0 ES GT.

And just for good measure, there's a number of flexible finance options across the range. With a 25% deposit, customers can secure a 5.9% PCP over three years, while those with a smaller deposit of 10% can secure a 7.9% PCP over the same duration. A two-year 0% HP is available with a 35% down payment.
