Renault reveals new Grand Scenic 24 | 05 | 2016

THE NEW RENAULT Grand Scenic will go on-sale at Scottish showrooms later this year boasting a new crossover styling, and the option os five- and seven-seat variants.

Continuing the new styling approach first seen in the new Scenic, which was revealed by Renault at the Geneva Motor Show in March, the new, larger Grand Scenic is taller, 24cm longer, wider and sits higher off the ground than the car it replaces.

Not only does the combination deliver more interior space, but it also helps to give the Grand Scenic more of an SUV profile, rather than that of a traditional MPV.

Further boosting its new looks, the new car will sit on 20in alloy wheels as standard, while inside the cabin there’s a total of 718 litres of storage space inside the Grand Scenic – 40 litres more than before.

Engine options are the same as the regular five-seat Scenic, with diesels forming the core of the range and producing up to 158bhp. Among the choices will be a Hybrid Assist diesel model, which should offer the best fuel economy.

According to Renault, the new Grand Scenic will also come with advanced technology from the segment above, including R-Link 2 8.7-inch portrait tablet, full-colour Head-Up Display, Bose Surround Sound, Easy Park Assist and Multisense personalised driving experience.

Renault will also confirm full UK spec and pricing closer to the on-sale date.
