Scots dealer named VW No1 21 | 02 | 2017

SCOTLAND’S LARGEST CAR dealership group, Arnold Clark, has picked up another major award after its Volkswagen Wishaw branch was named the UK’s best Volkswagen retailer at the manufacturer’s One Business Awards.

The award comes after VW’s 190 retailers across the UK and Northern Ireland were measured for customer satisfaction, sales and staff training.

“This is a real testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff at Wishaw, who have expert knowledge in Volkswagen cars and continually provide the best possible service for our customers,” Roch Starrs, Arnold Clark Volkswagen franchise manager, said.

The latest award was also welcomed by general manager Craig Montgomery, who has worked at the branch for more than 12 years.

“This award means a lot to us here at Wishaw,” Montgomery said. “I take real pride in my work and successes, and I know everyone here does, too.

“The whole team understands what makes a branch successful and every member of staff brings something different to the branch and our customers.”

According to Volkswagen, the branch had "great leadership in the form of its managers and has stayed focused on delivering the basics brilliantly". It was the "can-do" attitude of the team that stood out.
