The new addition expands the group’s Honda representation to three dealerships, with sites in Edinburgh, Fife and now Stirling.

The business will be rebranded as Western Honda Stirling and will relocate to a new, purpose-built showroom in summer 2018.

“This acquisition is an extremely exciting time for us at Western Honda,” Keith Duncan, managing director of Eastern Western Motor Group, said.

“It not only helps to further cement our relationship with the Honda franchise, but also assists in our strategy to grow and develop with our existing brand partners in new geographical territories. We look forward to working with Western Honda Stirling.”

The new acquisition was also praised by Western Honda dealer principal, Bill Mattocks.

“We look forward to welcoming all the staff from Phoenix Honda and building upon the already strong working relationship we have with them,” Mattocks said.

“Phoenix Honda’s general manager, Donald Campbell, has been with the brand for the past 12 years and brings a wealth of experience with him. With plans now finalised for a purpose-built Honda facility in Stirling, this really is an exciting time for us; watch this space.”
