Scots can book Stelvio test on Amazon 21 | 11 | 2018

SCOTS ALFA ROMEO fans can now book their test drives of the brand’s first ever SUV, the Stelvio, on Amazon. The test drives of the Stelvio — priced from £36,990 — will take place in Edinburgh on December 15-16. (Related: Alfa Romeo Stelvio details)

Through www.amazon.co.uk, customers can choose a time and date that’s convenient for the car to be delivered to their home, workplace or wherever best suits them.

Running for a limited time, the initiative lets customers use their desktop or mobile device to type in their postcode on the dedicated page www.amazon.co.uk/adlp/alfaromeo, select their preferred date and time and have an Alfa Romeo specialist deliver the Stelvio directly to them.

On the 45minute test drive the customer can put the Stelvio through its paces on roads familiar to them, while the specialist will be able to answer all their questions and show them how to get the most out of the car. Should customers wish to purchase, they will then be directed to their local Alfa Romeo retailer.

The Edinburgh dates follow others in London, Manchester and Birmingham. Any customers living outside of the eligible areas can test drive the Stelvio at their local Alfa Romeo retailer, along with the rest of the range.

Alfa Romeo Amazon test drive slots will last for 45minutes, and will be available on a first come first served basis over the following weekends:

“The Stelvio is the first SUV from Alfa Romeo and with this new car has come fresh thinking,” James Marsh, customer experience director for FCA UK, said. “Working with Amazon on this test drive programme has given us the chance to really put our customers at the centre and make the whole process of trying a new car as convenient as possible while still allowing them to experience the Alfa Romeo passion.”
