Arnold Clark to open in Nottingham 08 | 08 | 2016
SCOTLAND’S CAR DEALERSHIP giant, Arnold Clark, which has a turnover of £3.3 billion, has confirmed its plans to open a new Motorstore in Nottingham.
The facility — which will be the 22nd in the country, following the opening of the first in Motherwell in 2001 — will have 400 nearly-new and used cars on site.
And while the new Motorstore will also have car and van rental facilities, plus a fully equipped valeting area and a service department, Arnold Clark is looking to recruit 70 new staff. Positions are available across all departments including sales, servicing and car and van rental.

The branch will also have private consultation booths, a waiting area with hot and cold drinks available, a kids’ corner and Wi-Fi access.
“We’re very excited about the opportunity to bring both the Arnold Clark and the Motorstore brand to Nottingham and the rest of the East Midlands area,” Brian Webster, Arnold Clark Motorstore franchise manager, said.
“As a company we’ve been looking for the opportunity to invest in such a vibrant city for many years, and now that we’re here we can’t wait to open.”
The general manager at the branch will be David Lee, who has been with Arnold Clark — which now has more than 200 UK outlets, representing 23 manufacturers — for seven years.
