NISSAN HAS REVEALED its facelifted and updated GT-R Nismo which now boasts carbon-fibre parts and has more downforce than ever. Carrying a price tag of £149,995, the Nissan GT-R Nismo goes on-sale on November 1.

Costing more than a Porsche 911 Turbo S, which could be yours for £145,773, the GT-R Nismo gets the new grille and bumper design from the 2016 car; but its parts are made from carbon-fibre and now generate more downforce than any other Nissan road car ever.

Mated to a six-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, the car catapults from standstill to 62mph in around 2.5 seconds and carries on accelerating to around 200mph.

There re further upgrades inside the cabin as well, with a redesigned dashboard, steering wheel and centre armrest using Alcantara. The car also benefits from a larger 8-inch display screen on the dash, plus leather Recaro sports seats with red inserts.
