The new dedicated site in Edinburgh is located next to Peter Vardy’s BMW and Mini dealership, which opened in July, on Seafield Road East. Peter Vardy launched its Heritage business in February 2016, initially operating from a site in County Durham.

Occupying the company’s old Mini dealership site, the 300sq/m space houses 10 showroom cars, comprising a wide range including an Aston Martin DB2/4, a selection of classic Porsches, Mercedes, Bentley and Rolls Royce, amongst others.

A further 50 cars will be held locally in stock, with prices ranging from £5500 to £240,000. An assortment of car memorabilia will furnish the showroom. (Related: New £5m Peter Vardy Porsche Centre for Perth)

“We wanted to have a dedicated, premium, space where we could really showcase the marques that we have on offer,” Johnny Kildare, franchise director, said.

“With a dedicated facility, Peter Vardy Heritage truly offers something unique and is a must see for anyone with a passion for cars from a by-gone era.

“This will also allow us to detail, valet and service our classic cars on site. Classic car maintenance and servicing is something we can now offer to enthusiasts through this dealership.

“The market for classic cars continues to grow and we’ve had enquiries from all over the world on several of our cars. We offer an international shipping service which has proved immensely popular.” (Related: Peter Vardy brings classics to Scotland)

Peter Vardy, chief executive, said: “Classic cars are proving to be fantastic investments and our heritage business has been so popular since we opened a year ago that we are hoping this new dealership will really take us to the next level.”

In addition, it operates five prestige dealerships selling Jaguar, Land Rover, Porsche, BMW and Mini vehicles. It also has two of Scotland’s largest indoor used car showrooms; CarStore at Glasgow and Dundee.
