Facelifted Jazz includes new Sport 05 | 01 | 2018
HONDA’S 2018 JAZZ has gone on-sale at Scottish dealerships with prices starting from £14,115. While the entry-level S grade is fitted with the same 101bhp 1.3-litre four-cylinder petrol engine as last year’s model, it gets aircon, cruise control and automatic lights as standard. Buyers stepping up to the SE spec, which starts at £15,615, add 15in alloys, heated door mirrors, plus front and rear parking sensors.
The range-topping EX trim, which starts at £17,115, features 16in alloys, LED headlights, front fog lamps, climate control, a reversing camera and smart entry. (Related: Green light for Honda Urban EV)
The 2018 range also includes a new Sport trim. Costing just £40 more than the EX trim, the Sport is based on the trim but is powered by a new 128bhp 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine. It’s also mated to a six-speed gearbox, with a CVT automatic as an option. The CVT returns 52.3mpg at the pumps and emits 124g/km of CO2.
The Sport also get a, not surprisingly, sportier look with a front splitter and rear diffuser finished with Civic Type R-inspired red accents. It also benefits from gloss black 16in alloys, LED headlights, front fog lamps, a hatch lid spoiler and new side skirts.
The Jazz Sport interior also gets its own look, with unique orange pinstripe detailing on the seats. There’s also a leather trimmed steering wheel and gear knob, plus contrasting orange stitching dotted around the cabin.
