Kubica fast in the wetposted in F106 | 11 | 2010

RENAULT'S ROBERT Kubica topped the timesheets at the end of this morning's free practice in Brazil as the skies opened leaving the Interlagos circuit sodden.

The Renault ace, who finished second in Brazil 12 months ago, again showed his liking for treacherous conditions to post a best time of 1min 19.191secs, 0.309s faster than the Red Bull of Sebastian Vettel.

The German, fastest in Friday's two sessions, again outpaced his team-mate Mark Webber. The Aussie, winner in Brazil last year, had to satisfy himself with 11th after he opted to sit-out the final 20 minutes of the session.

McLaren's Lewis Hamilton was third, ahead of the Ferraris of local hero Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso. The Spaniard heads into what is expected to be a wet qualifying later this afternoon leading Webber by 11 points in the championship.
