Red Bull stay on topposted in F105 | 11 | 2010

RED BULL duo Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber remained at the top of the timesheets after today's second free practice session in Brazil. But the most significant improvement came from world championship leader Fernando Alonso.

The Ferrari driver, who leads Webber by 11 points in the battle for the championship, had struggled to only 13th-fastest in the morning session. In the afternoon though the Spaniard, whose car suffered an engine problem in the first session, catapulted himself to third-quickest, just 0.360s behind Vettel.

Local favoutite Feilpe Massa also improved as Ferrari got its act together. The Brazilian leapt from 14th to fifth, sandwiched between the McLaren of Lewis Hamilton in fourth and Robert Kubica's Renault. Jenson Button was seventh for McLaren.

But ominously for the rest, it's the Red Bull cars which again dominated proceedings with Vettel (pictured) setting a fastest time of 1min 11.968secs, 0.104s ahead of Webber.
