New look for Scots' favourite 24 | 11 | 2010

VAUXHALL HAS lifted the wraps on the 2011 Corsa as the manufacturer, which so far has sold over 5000 more cars than nearest rival Ford this year in Scotland, strives to continue its position as No1. The Corsa, which has outsold the Astra in Scotland through the first 10 months of this year, has now adopted styling cues from other recently launched Vauxhalls, such as the Insignia, Astra and Meriva.

With five new exterior colours to choose from, and new interior colours too, Vauxhall has also replaced the Corsa’s optional CD60 multi-media system with an optional Touch & Connect system which features a five-inch touch screen display, as well as a CD/tuner, aux-in, USB and Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity.

The 2011 Corsa also gets new 16in alloy wheels on both SE and SXi models, while the 190bhp VXR receives the option of a new 18-inch alloy wheels, modelled on the design of the optional 20-inch wheel worn by the Insignia VXR.
The new Corsa, which will be delivered to first customers in Scotland in February, is priced between £9995 and £17,820 based on 2011’s 20% VAT rate.
