Seat bids to beats VAT rise 07 | 10 | 2010

FROM NOW until December 31, Scottish Seat dealerships are offering a VAT discount of 17.5% off the basic price on some of the Spanish manufacturer's model range.

The comprehensive deal has been put together to tempt customers to bring their purchase decision forward before the higher rate of 20% VAT is introduced next year.

Qualifying cars include Ibiza SC and Ibiza 5dr models – with the exception of the Cupra and Cupra Bocanegra; all Ibiza ST models; Leon S, S Emoción, SE and Sport derivatives; all Altea and Altea XL versions including the new Ecomotive; and Exeo and Exeo ST variants with the exception of SE Tech and Sport Tech cars.

The retail campaign is also available for local small business sales and relates to qualifying cars ordered and handed over at participating Seat dealers.
