Evoque prices start at £27,955 04 | 04 | 2011

LAND ROVER has revealed prices for its all-new Evoque range which enters Scottish showrooms in September. The range will start at £27,955 and rise to £44,320.

There will be a choice of five-door and coupe body styles, with three engines, and three design themes – Pure, Prestige and Dynamic. There's a choice of 148bhp or 188bhp from the updated 2.2-litre turbodiesel powerplant.

The 2WD coupé version, which enters the showrooms early next year, combined with the 148bhp 2.2-litre engine is set to achieve sub 130g/km CO2. There is also a 238bhp 2.0-litre Si4 petrol engine which will hit 0-60mph in 7.1 seconds.

The five-door Evoque is roomier than the coupe, with a 30mm higher roofline. But to illustrate how Land Rover believe the car will be perceived by buyers, and seen in the marketplace, the range-topping model will still be the coupe, at £44,320 for the Si4 Dynamic with six-speed auto and LUX pack.

Options available include 12 exterior colours, three contrasting roof treatments, seven alloy wheel designs, 16 contrasting interiors and a full sized, fixed, panoramic glass roof.
