Mazda's confirms compact CX-5 18 | 04 | 2011
MAZDA HAS CONFIRMED its new compact crossover SUV will be called the CX-5. The new model will fit beneath the CX-7 in Mazda’s product line-up and will be the first to feature the Japanese brand’s new Kodo design.
The CX-5 will be one of the first models to feature Mazda’s new Skyactiv technologies, including new engines, bodyshell design, transmission and chassis.
Mazda has already given a concept preview of what the CX-5 will look like with its Minagi concept model (pictured) but a production version will be shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September before it Mazda's Scottish dealership network next year.
