SCOTLAND'S SOLE supplier of the Nissan Leaf, Edinburgh's Alex F Noble, has become the first Scottish dealership to have two certified electric vehicle technicians in place ahead of the launch of the electric car.

Andrew Donaldson and Greg Defesche gained electric vehicle technician level one certificates after completing a four day training course in Paris and London.

One day was spent in Paris on specialist training in high voltage issues, followed by three days in Watford on electric vehicle technical management.
