VW announces Jetta prices 03 | 02 | 2011

VOLKSWAGEN HAS confirmed the prices of its new Jetta, which is available to order now in all of its Scottish dealerships; first deliveries are due in May.

Prices start at £16,960 for the entry-level S 1.4-litre TSI 120bhp and rise to £22,320 for the top of the range 2.0-litre TDI with DSG automatic gearbox. New Jettas are fitted with aircon, an MP3 compatible CD stereo, six airbags, ABS, Electronic Stabilisation Programme (ESP), an alarm and folding rear seats as standard.

The new Jetta is larger than the model it replaces. The latest model is 90mm longer at 4644mm with a wheelbase increase of 70mm to 2648mm. This allows the rear legroom to increase by 67mm.
