Fun-filled Scottish Motorcycle Show 18 | 01 | 2011

SCOTLAND'S TWO-WHEEL fans are set to flock to Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Centre between March 12-13 for the return of the Carole Nash MCN Scottish Motorcycle Show.

Alongside displays from bike manufacturers including Triumph, Ducati, BMW, Suzuki, Victory, Kawasaki, Yamaha and Harley Davidson — who are showcasing their latest models — there’s plenty of real two-wheeled action.

In addition to the first round of the Scottish Supermoto Championship, where dirt track and tarmac meet in tough test of bike skills, the Kevin Carmichael stunt show will be taking place in the Live Action Zones. But if its traditional old-school thrills-a-minute action you fancy, then check out Ken Fox and his world-famous Wall of Death.

And for lovers of older motorcycles, the Carole Nash Classics Pavilion turns back the clock and celebrity spotters are in for a treat with plenty of celebrity guests set to attend over the weekend.

And if you've always been looking for that rare piece of motorcycle memorabilia, it'll probably be worth nipping in to the new Bike Jumble and the Retail Village where a host of traders will also be able to fit you out with new leathers, boots or helmet.

The show is open 9am until 5pm each day. Adult ticket prices start from just £12 when booked in advance or £16 on the door. Senior citizen tickets are £7, and entry for children aged under 15 is free. Parking is £4 per car, motorcycles are free and secure helmet storage is available. To book tickets call the 24hr ticket hotline on 0871 230 1108 or visit www.scottishmotorcycleshow.com where you can find all the latest updates.
