Gordini Wind Roadster costs £15,195 18 | 07 | 2011

RENAULT HAS confirmed its new top-of-the range Wind Gordini Roadster will cost from £15,195. Available with both the 99bhp 1.2-litre and the more powerful 131bhp 1.6-litre 133 engines, the Wind Gordini Roadster is the third model to feature in Renault's line-up.

As you wold expect, there are a number of styling cues which help identify the Gordini Roadster. Externally there's a Malta Blue paint job with twin white Gordini stripes, Gordini badges on the side pillars and 17in alloys; inside the cabin the seats are not only covered in Gordini blue and dark grey leather, but there's also an embossed Gordini logo. Just for good measure, there's also a 1-200 Gordini-numbered plaque, chrome gearlever and more Gordini badges.

The Wind Gordini Roadster's standard kit is quite impressive too, with Bluetooth, climate control and USB connections included. In addition there's a choice of three upgrades – a £450 Renaultsport exhaust for 1.6-litre versions only, 17in Gordini alloys and a wind deflector for £200 each.

To coincide with the launch of the Gordini Roadster, Renault has also slashed the prices of standard Renault Winds, by up to £2215. As a result, the Dynamique and GT Line versions of its convertible now cost from £12,995, compared with the previous entry-level cost of £15,205.
