Lambo plans an "everyday" model 24 | 05 | 2011
LAMBORGHINI HAS confirmed it will add an “everyday” model to its line-up. No final decision has been made of which segment the new car will sit, although it looks likely that the car will be a four-door saloon.
"We are going to have a third model," Lamborghini chief executive Stephan Winkelmann announced today. "It has to be an everyday car. We want to have a car which is able to be used on a daily basis.
“We really have a choice when it comes to an additional model: an SUV or a four-seat four-door. And for me the SUV is a no-go. It doesn’t exist in our price segment, and it’s not a real luxury car.”
