Nissan launches 370Z GT Edition 18 | 05 | 2011

NISSAN IS CELEBRATING 40 years of Z in the UK, as well as the firm’s success in GT racing, by launching the limited edition “race-themed” Nissan 370 GT Edition. The £35,000 model is available to order at Scottish Nissan dealers from next month.

The GT Edition benefits from changes to the chassis and suspension aimed, according to Nissan, at "delivering the ideal balance between ride comfort and high-speed handling.”

Inside the cabin, the limited edition gets a rear parking camera as part of the ‘Premium Connect’ sat-nav system and the addition of a tyre-pressure monitoring system. And ideal for our Scottish winters — especially if last year's anything to go by — for the first time the 370Z is the option of ‘snow mode’ for the seven-speed auto gearbox.

Externally the GT Edition gets 19 alloys, grey GT stripes, which run along the car’s flanks, and it's available in three body colours; Pearl White, Kuro Black and Black Rose.

"The 370Z is an iconic sports car and the GT Edition underlines its appeal to enthusiasts everywhere," Nissan's vice president of product planning Pierre Loing said.

"The combination of outstanding performance and the dramatic looks of this very special 370Z more than lives up to the heritage of its illustrious forebear, while its strong links to the racetrack shows its true pedigree."
