BMW confirms M3 Limited Edition 05 | 03 | 2012

BMW WILL LAUNCH a limited edition version of its M3. The rather obviously-badged BMW M3 Limited Edition 500 will be restricted to 500 models in both coupé and convertible bodystyles.

Unchanged mechanically over the standard car, the Limited Edition will have more than £4000 of extra equipment fitted as standard.

Costing £55,690 for the coupé, and £59,785 for the cabrio, that's just £1000 more than the M3 base model.

The BMW M3 Limited Edition 500 is available in three colours: Imola Red, Mineral White and Santorini Blue, reflecting the colours of the iconic ‘M’ badge.

The legend “One of 500” will be laser cut into the dashboard inlay of each model.

Inside the Limited Edition, the cabin is trimmed in BMW’s extended Novillo leather and features stitching to match the exterior colour.

And while the grille surround, side gills and tailpipes are finished in dark chrome, there's also Shadowline exterior trim and black alloy wheels on both the coupé and convertible.
