Revised Skoda Kodiaq starts at £27,560 20 | 05 | 2021

    SKODA HAS CONFIRMED the pricing and spec of its revised Kodiaq SUV range, which now includes a host of improvements. Prices now start at £27,560, and across the range prices have increased by around £930 on average. Available to order from early June, first deliveries are expected from July.     The entry-model 148bhp 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol-engined five-seat model in SE trim now starts at £27,560, with the range topping out at £43,395 for the top-spec 197bhp 2.0 TDI 4x4 DSG L&K car with seven seats.

    Across the full range, the Kodiaq benefits from new styling, including a fresh bonnet design, revised headlights and a new radiator grille. There’s also a new rear bumper which contains a diffuser element, revised tail-lights, and a more prominent spoiler on the tailgate. (Related: Skoda reveals 2021 Fabia)

    Buyers can choose from three petrols and two diesels. The diesels are now fitted with Skoda’s ‘twin dosing’ exhaust gas treatment process, and start with the entry-level 148bhp 2.0TDI. From the SE L spec upwards, the 197bhp 2.0TDI is available. (Related: Skoda's all-electric Enyaq IV)

    The range of petrol-powered Kodiaqs starts with the 148bhp 1.5-litre turbo, followed by the 187bhp 2.0-litre turbo — again available from SE L trim upwards — then the range-topping 242bhp 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol in the hot vRS.

    As for spec? The SE includes a colour multifunction trip computer, LED headlights, rear LED tail-lights and a space-saver saver wheel. Step up to the SE L — priced from £31,895 — and you add full Matrix LED headlights, an all-weather lighting system, chrome roof rails and 19in alloys.

    Stretch to £35,805 for the SportLine spec and a sportier body kit and interior, plus dynamic LED tail lights and a rear-view camera, adaptive Matrix LED headlights and larger alloys are all standard kit.

    The top-spec L&K model delves into the world of luxury with the addition of ventilated leather front seats with Laurin & Klement logo, a virtual cockpit display, grey stitching in dashboard, grey stitching in front and rear armrests and door inserts, plus extended rear spoiler with finlets in gloss black.     Across the new range, safety systems have also been improved. These include the automatic emergency braking system, which can now recognise pedestrians and cyclists. Also, the rearward-facing radar sensors can tell if the car is about to be hit from behind, and can prepare the cabin accordingly in a split second.
