Fiat debuts new pick-up 11 | 11 | 2015

FIAT HAS UNVEILED its new Fullback pick-up truck in Dubai. The pick-up, which combines a practical double-cab body style with a spacious load area and competitive payload of 1045kg, will go on-sale in Scotland in autumn 2016.

Powered by a 2.4-litre turbo-diesel engine, with 150hp or 180hp outputs, the Fullback will have four-wheel drive as standard, combined with a manual or automatic transmission.

Measuring up to 1780mm in height, 1815 mm in width and 5285mm in length, with a wheelbase of 3000mm, the new Fiat pick-up will be available with the choice of two transmissions. Buyers get the choice of a new six-speed manual gearbox or a five-speed automatic transmission with sports mode, and both will be combined with full four-wheel drive systems.

When the pick-up arrives in Scotland, it will be available in two trim levels, though pricing and specifications won't be announced closer to the vehicle’s launch next autumn.
