Scots win Isuzu Dealer of the Year 07 | 03 | 2016

SCOTS DEALERSHIP EAGLESHAM Garage has been named as the Isuzu Dealer of the Year. The award caps 12 months which have seen the dealership record a 17% year-on-year sales rise.

That success ensured the Glasgow dealership, which has been an Isuzu specialist since 1989, ranked itself among the best dealers in the United Kingdom on sales alone.

The Scots team sold 112 of the multi-award winning D-Max pick-ups throughout the year – a 17% increase on its 2014 total.

In addition to vehicle, parts and accessories sales, the Dealer of the Year award jury – made up of Isuzu UK’s senior management team – takes into account sales aftercare and general customer service when appraising the network’s numerous sales and service dealer sites.

“It was not just Eaglesham Garage’s strong sales results – ranked among the best of all Isuzu dealers – that helped it to win this prestigious Isuzu Dealer of the Year award," William Brown, general manager of Isuzu UK, said.

"Its excellent improvement over its performance in 2014 was taken into consideration, as well as a general all-round excellence in its approach to catering for customers’ needs.”

With more than 25 years’ experience, the Eaglesham Garage team had also completed the full Isuzu UK training schedule throughout 2014 and 2015, equipping its staff to deliver outstanding service to all of their customers. Eaglesham only dropped one mark out of 20 in an impressive customer service score.

Further Scottish success came when Corrie Motors of Inverness was named New Dealer of the Year.

The Isuzu D-Max is available in three body styles – single, extended and double cab, with prices starting from £14,999 for the entry-level single cab 4x2 rising to £25,999 for the range-topping Isuzu Blade.

The Isuzu D-Max is fitted with a super-efficient 2.5-litre twin-turbo diesel engine, producing 163PS and 400Nm of torque, is able to tow a class-leading 3.5-tonnes (braked) while unladen can return 38.7 mpg (combined), and is available with a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission.

Every new D-Max sold in the UK is backed by the company’s pioneering, five-year / 125,000-mile warranty.
