Nissan reveals Leaf Black Edition 09 | 11 | 2016

    NISSAN HAS UNVEILED a sporty new limited run Leaf Black Edition which will go on-sale at Scottish dealerships from March next year. Though no official price has been revealed it expect it to carry a premium of around £3000 over the standard Leaf Acenta.

    The first 1000 customers to buy the electric supermini will receive a free in-vehicle wi-fi hotspot, providing wi-fi to up to eight devices at any one time.

    Based on mid-range Acenta grade, the Leaf Black Edition features the latest Nissan technologies including Around View Monitor, NissanConnect EV telematics and advanced safety systems

    It also benefits from 16in black alloys, black door mirror caps and rear spoilers, as well as LED headlights, privacy glass and special edition floor mats with blue stitching.

    The new limited edition Leaf mirrors the move Nissan made earlier this year when it launched the Note Black Edition, which is also around £3000 more than the standard Note on which it’s based.

    Launched in 2010, the Nissan Leaf was the first mass-market electric vehicle. The latest 30kWh version gives drivers a range of up to 155 miles.
