New Qashqai rival from Mitsubishi 24 | 01 | 2017

MITSUBISHI HAS REVEALED a first glimpse of its new SUV which will go head-to-head with the bestselling Nissan Qashqai. The new Mitsubishi, which will help swell the company's car sales in Scotland and has been inspired by the XR-PHEV Concept seen in 2015, will make its appearance at the Geneva Motor Show in March.

Still to be named, the new model will be larger than the ASX and sit below the Outlander in Mitsubishi’s range.

As can be seen from the image, the new model’s nose will have some resemblance to the Outlander. However, its more angular rear, coupé-like roofline and slimming glassline are less conventional for a Mitsubishi SUV.
