Mini launches new Seven 11 | 05 | 2016

MINI HAS LAUNCHED the first special edition — the Seven — based on its current generation model. Available in both three and five door form with a specially designed exterior and interior, the Seven takes inspiration from the 1959 Austin Seven.

Available to order from Scottish dealerships today, prices start £18,545 for 3-door models and £19,145 for the 5-door.

The Seven is available in four paint colours, including Lapisluxury Blue, the most intensive blue tone ever applied to a Mini, plus Pepper White, Midnight Black and British Racing Green.

Standard on the Seven is a Melting Silver roof and exterior mirror caps, plus door sill finishers and side scuttles with the Mini Seven logo. The car also gets exclusive 17in light alloy wheels in two-tone design complete the exterior look. Bonnet stripes in Melting Silver with surround in Malt Brown are also available as an option.

Inside the Seven’s cabin, the Sports seats are upholstered in the fabric/leather finish Diamond Malt Brown and there is a Mini Seven logo on the central instrument which surrounds the 6.5-inch colour display.

Standard kit includes Bluetooth with USB audio, floor mats, Mini Excitement Pack, automatic dual-zone air conditioning and storage compartment pack.

Perhaps not surprisingly, given Mini’s craving for personalisation, there’s also a bespoke option pack available.

The Mini Seven Chili pack offers leather upholstery in Carbon Black and a nappa leather steering wheel. Additional features include LED headlights, multifunction controls for the steering wheel and cruise control with brake function.

Additional optional equipment from the Mini range can also be added and includes a panorama glass roof, windscreen heating, front driver and passenger seat heating, the Harmon Kardon hi-fi speaker system and a navigation system.

Mini Seven will have its first UK premiere at Goodwood Festival.
