New heights for £8m Scots dealership 12 | 05 | 2016

SCOTLAND’S MOST INNOVATIVE car dealership group, Peter Vardy, is nearing completion on its new state-of-the-art £8 million Jaguar Land Rover retailer site in Aberdeen.

On course to open later this year, the stylish, modern exterior of the new building is now fully constructed. The facility is being built by Ogilvie Construction, which last year completed the Porsche Centre Aberdeen nearby.

The building has now officially been ‘topped out’, marking the completion of the highest point of the structure; construction will now focus on making the facility wind and watertight, before installing the stylishly appointed interior.

The new retailer in Wellington Road is one of the first custom-built Jaguar Land Rover sites to adopt a brand new look and feel that places an even greater emphasis on customer service and luxury.

The building will be on two floors, ground and mezzanine, linked by escalators, with more than 100 New and Approved Used vehicles on site, plus 26 ramps for servicing vehicles.

Customers will be able to enjoy two business lounges with in-house barista and chef, creating a relaxing and welcoming environment for all visitors. There will also be three customer handover bays to make the experience of buying a Jaguar Land Rover product as exciting as owning one.

“We are very excited by the prospect of opening what promises to be a stunning new Jaguar Land Rover facility later this year,” Peter Vardy, chief executive, said. “We simply cannot wait to welcome all our current and future customers there.”

And the progress of the work was also marked by Duncan Ogilvie, chief executive, Ogilvie Group.

“We are proud to be delivering another state-of-the-art facility for Peter Vardy Ltd,,” he said, “complete with the high levels of quality, luxury, performance and customer service that people expect from a brand as prestigious as Jaguar Land Rover.”
